Basketball
Basketball isn’t just a sport—it’s a tool for unity, discipline, and health. Whether it's organized league play or pickup games at your local court, the game teaches teamwork, promotes cardiovascular health, and keeps kids engaged in a positive way. We’re encouraging families to sign up for our open court times and community basketball nights this July!

Hydration
Water isn’t just a summer essential—it’s your body’s power source. Staying hydrated boosts focus, reduces fatigue, and helps regulate your body temperature during outdoor activities. Even slight dehydration can affect your mood and coordination. This month, make it a goal to drink at least 64 oz of water a day and educate youth on spotting signs of dehydration early.

Alcohol & Weight: What You Should Know
One drink can carry more weight than you think. Alcohol slows down fat metabolism, adds empty calories, and often increases late-night eating. Just 2–3 drinks a week can affect weight management goals and increase the risk of chronic conditions. Educate yourself and the community on moderation and the long-term health impacts of regular alcohol use.
