General Safety Guidelines

• All participants must check in at the front desk upon arrival.

• Youth under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or approved adult.

• Unauthorized access to staff areas, storage rooms, or studio spaces is strictly prohibited.

Security Measures

• Security cameras are located throughout the facility to ensure safety and transparency.

• Emergency exits are clearly marked and must remain accessible at all times.

• Trained staff and volunteers are present during all operational hours to supervise and assist.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

To protect our community, CAB enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against:

• Violence, threats, or physical altercations

• Possession of weapons, drugs, or alcohol

• Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind

• Gang-related clothing, language, or behavior

Violations may result in removal from the premises, suspension from programs, or permanent dismissal from all CAB services.

• Mental and Emotional Safety

• Confidential support is available for youth experiencing emotional stress.

• Respect for personal space and self-expression is expected at all times.

• All staff are trained in trauma-informed care and youth de-escalation practices.

Emergency Procedures

• In an emergency, please notify a staff member or call 911 immediately.

• First aid kits and an AED are available on-site.

• Fire and safety drills are conducted regularly for preparedness.
