Her background blends fiscal oversight, program management, and compliance, with a strong foundation in supporting youth, families, and community-centered initiatives. As Chief Financial Officer, she oversees CAB’s banking and financial operations to ensure sustainability, accountability, and mission-aligned growth.
My Story
Dana Jackson-Brown is a dedicated wife, mother of eight, and lifelong advocate for youth and family development. Raised in the south suburbs, Dana discovered her calling early in early childhood education, blending her passion for service with hands-on leadership in her community.
She began her career as the Director of a local daycare, a role that allowed her to support families while raising her own children and doing the work she loved. As her career progressed, Dana joined the Park Forest School District 163, where she devoted over 20 years serving in various leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Director of the X-STEAM Afterschool Program, providing critical afterschool support to students through learning enrichment, mentorship, arts, and recreation.
Dana joins CAB’s Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer, bringing with her a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and extensive experience in public-sector finance, grants, and program oversight. In her role, she oversees CAB’s banking and finance department, supporting the organization’s mission to empower youth through community, arts, and opportunity.
